New Hope Community Bikes has launched a fundraiser to support their mission to provide affordable bikes and bike repair and safety education.

New Hope Community Bikes is a non-profit social enterprise that was started in 2008 by New Hope Church and has a mandate to "get more people on affordable, reliable bicycles and provide employment and job training opportunities for youth" by providing affordable bikes and bike maintenance and providing bicycle repair and safety workshops.

New Hope repairs bikes, accepts and reburbishes donated bikes, and invites community friends to support the co-op through annual fees and volunteering.

They're at 1422 Main Street East, just east of Kenilworth, and you can reach them at 905-545-1991, email info@newhopecommunitybikes.com or on twitter @newhopebike.

You can make a monthly or one-time donation via Canada Helps.

I've broken a lot of bike stuff, in my life and lived a lot of places .... this is truly one of the best bike shops any where ... well worth the ride when you need stuff ..

Not sure how too say this but... you would never know a church was main mover and shaker behind this .,,

BEST SHOP IN TOWN (all shops not just bikes)

Hey, that's me!

I clicked on the video on their website and saw video of me riding my black Pashley bike at the 24-30 second mark in this video.
