Summer Break

We're taking some time off during the summer.

Independently, several Raise the Hammer contributors leaned heavily toward photographs for their articles in this issue. Could it be an unconscious - or conscious - assertion that it's beautiful outside and that we should be out enjoying that beauty?

This will be the last issue of Raise the Hammer until late August. The weather's lovely, we're all going on vacations, and we need a chance to take some time off, work and play with our families, and get re-acquainted with why this is all worth it. When we return with our next issue, we'll be re-energized, deeply bronzed, and breathing through oxygen masks (just kidding - we hope!).

In the meantime, we will still update the Word on the Street (in fact, we'll probably be rather better at posting events in a timely fashion), and we will still post entries to the Hammerblog.

Thank you for your continued support, encouragement, kind words, constructive criticisms, and above all, your steady participation in making civic life in Hamilton worth fighting for. Now turn off your computer and get outside already! :)
