Raise the Hammer
An in-fill project at Mohawk and Upper Ottawa holds the promise for densification in the upper city.

A new infill project at the corner of Mohawk and Upper Ottawa is under construction. This building is beside a new drug store and, as far as I can remember, this corner has been vacant land.

The surrounding neighbourhood was developed in 1960s and is finally getting finished. This development looks very good. The sign for "Conerstone Condominium" shows a rendering of a good looking, four-floor, brick building with a proper roof.
It is being built close to the road and it appears that parking will be located in the rear. This building is not ignoring the street by turning its back to it, but proudly sits and complements its surroundings.
The sign also mentions something about being constructed with Eco-Block - the latest in energy saving technology. Kudos to Ninco Developments.
