Miss April Day's School for Burgeoning Young Strippers

Do get out and catch this one-woman show while it's with us in Hamilton this week. If what you see is not the stripping career-experience of Miss April Day herself, then June Morrow is just a stand-up comic with a gimmick. This observer has no such hesitant suspicions... Morrow is Miss April Day, and she knows all about it.

My dears, if there is a life behind those dance poles and strip club stages, and if there's a chance for you to finally enjoy a private dance experience without embarrassment, well, it's here for the week during the Hamilton Fringe.

She's some teacher, this Miss April, and you won't be allowed to miss a moment of her class. She's all action, is our teacher, her lessons are vivid and oh-so-funny... from teen angst through mature experience in the trade, she and her Director have crafted an evening of delicious intimacy.

Minimal props and effects, a trademark of the Fringe, Morrow's best teaching device is her still curvaceous body and she uses it very, very well, always comfortable with herself, so don't worry about any cringe factor.

Above all, it's a story about a real someone, and it's delightfully told and sung (a little off key) with honest and cheerful intimacy. Don't miss it.

TNgM.

Well put Tom - agree with you completely. June was great. This was my first Hamilton Fringe - next year I plan to buy the pass and takr in most, if not all, of the scheduled activities.
