Family Day Snow Coverage

By Joey Coleman
Published February 20, 2011

Hamilton is expecting snow tonight and into Family Day.

The snow is expected to bring up to 15 centimetres of snow. While the total accumulation is not as significant as past storms, the brisk east-to-northeast winds will create brief localized whiteout conditions.

As the storm is occurring during a long weekend, the impact of cancellations should be minimal.

Our #HamOntSnow coverage on Groundhog Day was very popular and we're facilitating crowd-sourcing of this event.

On Twitter, use the hashtag #HamOntSnow to share your experiences, add your photos or video, and help us inform each other of what's happening in our neighbourhoods. Your contribution will be cultivated in the box below.

At the bottom of the page, we've listed important links that you can follow for more storm information.

by all means, go buy a newspaper tomorrow and enjoy 'real' journalism as you read articles from 4 days ago.
