Lockdown, Arrests After Pellet Gun Shots at St. Joseph's School

Hamilton Police have arrested seven people after an incident at St. Joseph's School in which shots were fired and the school was placed into lockdown. No staff or students were injured, but police seized several pellet rifles and pellet guns.

Locke Street between Stanley and Herkimer was closed during the police investigation but has since reopened.

My daughter told me that Ryerson was also locked down due to this event. Some kids were quite frightened from the sound of it.
