Of course. But just to play devil's advocate for LOL, we did overlook the biggest reason of all we can't cycle in Canada. We're at a different longitude.

Seriously. Gravity in Hamilton is 0.012m/s^2 weaker than in NL. That makes us totally different. There is no way cycling could ever work here.

It's only reasonable to worry that this would escalate into taxpayers funding bike lanes on the Moon. I mean, what other natural progression could this have?

There. Add that to your list of reasons why Hamilton is a victim of exceptionalism.
