He was found not guilty of assaulting his ex girlfriend...... Why? He certainly seems to have devastated her, & put her in fear possibly for all her lifetime. This is not an assault? He knew exactly what he was doing, & he also knew he would get a light sentence, if any sentence at all. I wish Hamilton Regional Police would start pressing charges against this type of serial criminal & start taking these things seriously. It's not a 'lover's spat' or a domestic situation that will resolve in time. It's a Crime!! Many women have said that they have no faith in the Hamilton Police to investigate crimes directed against women, & those women often seem to be correct.
