FWIW, 2015 was the sixth year of Niagara's seasonal summer service pilot and the province still doesn't see a business rationale for regular rail service in their ridership numbers.
"Metrolinx spokesman Mark Ostler said 25,700 rode the rails between Niagara and Toronto during 12 weekends of service [ July/August/September], 1,049 less than the 26,749 during 12 weekends in 2014.... In 2012, 21,364 people rode the GO train during the seasonal service, while 21,406 did in 2013."
