Completely agree that this point is being glossed over, or not even brought to the forefront in discussions.

Stated another way, our options are:

1. LRT in Hamilton equates to $73.53 / Ontario taxpayer;

2. BRT in Hamilton equates to $22.06 (300m for a local BRT project) plus $51.47 (balance of $700m given to another muni) = same $73.53 / Ontario taxpayer; or

3. Status Quo / Local buses equates to a minimum of $160 / Hamilton taxpayer (800 million of infrastructure on that corridor / 500,000 population)

Which option would you choose?

Personally I think that should be the question posed to the public.
