Ryan is a really, really good editor. Among other things, he went and found better graphs than were submitted with this article. Or created the graphs using the original OECD and Netherlands Bureau of Statistics data. In which case, Ryan has transcended the role of editor and become a co-author, without the slightest hint or suggestion that he should get credit as a co-author. This would not be the first time that he has provided original creative content to enhance my articles.
Ryan does a better job editing than many professional editors who are paid for their work.
Ryan, thank you for what you do. You are a true urban hero. You have my unqualified respect and admiration. Not only for being the editor, publisher and creator of Raise the Hammer, but for your participation in numerous events to help make Hamilton a better city for all its people.
