Don't care who he's been reading, what is going on at Hwy 5-6 and Rymal-Hwy 20 is stupid on a scale only the most rapacious developer could find rational or liveable. What is most stupid is that Council can't do the math to see how all this costs the taxpayer more than it will ever generate in taxes and revenues that stay in the city.
And then there's that pesky little question of where our children will get their food when trucking and flying it in from international sources is no longer affordable. Of course by that time, no one will be able to afford the mortgages on, or to heat and commute to, these McMonster cracker boxes. Then the city can seize the derelict hulks for backtaxes and level them for farms. We can only hope.
