I think maybe there is a third option that gets the full-size stadium location at West Harbour.
However, that option effectively spends the entire Future Fund on the Cats and the stadium, and is likely not the best use of these funds.
I would expect that given the strong position he's in, (see Ryan's piece on negotiating) if the City were to offer to purchase the team from Young, he would naturally demand a very high price.
