But I'll also make a suggestion if you must travel with BG. Fortinos sells a can of "Eggplant Dip, Babaghanouge". I know the canned part sounds gross, but it's a must buy with only eggplant, tahini, salt, and citric acid for less than $2.00. I buy it in bulk. It's made by Cedar, product of Lebanon, and has the delicious smoky flavour hard to replicate at home (without artificial smoke or a smoker). Pull tab on the can, smoosh it rustically on a plate, drizzle with olive oil, light sprinkle of paprika and some kalamata olives on top. I gave up making it myself once I found this stuff. The security guards may still be a problem though because the pull tab makes geschmeering the Tahitian Women a distinct possibility.
