jason, well, hope this puts some fun back into the number fudge :))

1) It would be interesting to add the "traffic accidents" data from the Traffic Safety Status report below, to the data you have complied - to see what kind of results this generates.

See: Cut urban speed limit to 40 km/h to save pedestrians, Chief Coroner’s office urges, Colin Perkel, Wed Sept 19, 2012 - theSpec.com

2) Also below there is data on "truck count" (example: page 13, "Cannon" - westbound), which could be added to your compilation to get a more detailed look at traffic conditions on various streets.

3) Lastly, here is a regional look at the road/transit network - which places Hamilton in the regional context: http://www.ontla.on.ca/library/repositor...

This may possibly help in gaining a broader view of our local road system, many of which are 'regional roads' that happen to traverse our downtown core. (See 3.3 and 3.3.2: "The primary east-west roadways under the jurisdiction of the City of Hamilton include the Lincoln Alexander Parkway, Rymal Road, Stone Church Road, Mohawk Road, King Street/Main Street, and Burlington Street.")
