I agree, and, because all the longtime residents wrong-way park regularly, we were quite surprised when we received a ticket. Ryan's comment gives it some helpful context. I understand the safety reasons for the wrong-way parking ordinance, which, on a busy street, could be very dangerous. On our street, however, which has very low traffic and very good visibility, it's more dangerous to have people executing three point turns (which are probably also illegal). Of course, my real point was that this would also be a complete non issue, if Main and King were two way streets, or even if Wentworth were two way so that I could drive from Main down to King without hiking an extra couple blocks over to double back.
