What frustrates me is that LRT opponents keep saying things that just aren't true but are rarely challenged on it. People who have no excuse not to know better continue to raise phony objections based on empirically false claims, which muddies the debate, confuses people who aren't following the issue closely and wastes everyone's time.

The only legitimate barrier is that the Province might ultimately decide not to fund it. Even then, the Province's decision on whether to fund it will be heavily influenced by how much we want it. It would be profoundly self-loathing and self-destructive for us to reject full LRT funding merely because the Province is waiting for us to decide whether we still want it.
