Yes, well, when I drive on the Cannon express I always watch for what's heading out of side streets--on bikes or on foot or especially in vehicles. So the weekend news report about the negligent bicycling child, also in Monday Spec, is repugnant--even if De Caire's finest are 'just' trying to educate folks in their blaming, yes, the child. If you drive a commercial vehicle, as in this case, you watch out: helmet on kid or not. She's dead, DeCaire and company.

Nothing new at the corner of Wilson and Victoria that's for sure. Children are always running across Victoria Ave North from J.C. Beemer Park. This little girl was hit by a Lexus SUV who nearly never noticed until other drivers made her stop.
