Video: Using HSR Bus Rack

Since the HSR doesn't advertise, not many people know that many buses are now equipped with bike racks mounted that can hold up to two bicycles.

Thom Oommen has helpfully posted a video to YouTube showing how quick and painless it is to mount your bike onto the rack before boarding the bus.

The only problem remaining with these racks is that they are on "some" buses. They need to be on every bus on every route 100% of the time so that cyclists know they can count on it. What good is it if you show up with your bike and "oops! this bus doesn't have a rack, please wait 45 minutes for the next one!"

There is some information on the city's website about which routes have bike rack equipped buses.
