Agree.

At best, good governance is an 'on-going dialogue' between elected Councillors and their Ward constituents.

But if we don't vote, we don't have a leg to stand on.

There are other ways, of course, to become engaged within our communities at the grassroots level, but the 'lead time' is generally longer and the results usually less visible.

Municipal governments are multi-million dollar corporations. If we are moving in the same direction, their resources can and should amplify residents preferences. If we don't vote, or engage, we remain 'governed' - without representation.
