The Bach Elgar Choir is honouring the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of the First World War with a unique event. As well as music from the period, including works by Elgar and Reger and specially arranged World War I songs, the concert will include readings by Shaw Festival star Lorne Kennedy from the McMaster University collection of soldiers' letters and diaries.
This 55 voice community choir has been performing in Hamilton since 1905. The concert is being sponsored by McMaster University and supported by the Hamilton Spectator.
