it's amazing how focused fomenting can convince 'some people' that a molehill -admittedly one that reveals a lot about the person's inner workings- is a mountain...

I've moved on to being mad about Peggygate as a failed performance item for the Chief of Staff. It occurred to me that a CoS who can't control the story around their own raise doesn't deserve said raise.

The cartoonist's point is that the "molehill" is actually the tip of an iceberg, I don't know who you hang around with or how they feel about Bob, but I keep hearing from people who NEVER talk politics and they're pissed at the mayor giving his chief a huge raise and trying to cover it up by blaming hr and then putting out a phony baloney apology when he got caught again. I get that you think we should worry more about how to change the future than the present but 2014 is a long way off and we can't keep dealing with each new screwup by bringing up the people who didn't vote in 2010.

I agree, I've heard from people who know nothing about politics and are not only aware about peggygate, but also upset about it. They didn't have ally the details down (I filled in the blanks) but their knowledge was more than what I expected.

What do you expect from a mayor who got elected with no election platform aside from de-amalgamating Hamilton (so how is that going by the way? ..oh wait..I forgot..Hamilton has no jurisdiction over municipal restructuring).

The guy was a pretty awful dt councilor as well.

This is beyond embarrassing for any mayor. He should resign.
