"996 King Street West: The Westdale Barbershop" is a short documentary about a local barbershop in the heart of Westdale. It was originally created as a final project for an English seminar, but quickly took on a life of its own. Written and directed by Eric Tarquinio. Camerawork and editing by THEWETDOGMEDIA (Maxine Gravina).

Thanks for the history on this barber shop. From the pictures it looks like they do wet shaves with a straight razor. I've been looking all over for someone who still does this and have found a couple that do it, but with safety razor blades in a straight razor style holder.
Do they do wet shaves with a straight razor there?

I was, at first glance, hoping this had to do with a barber-shop quartet located, mysteriously, in Westdale.

It's crazy how little we know about our own city, thanks for sharing :)
