Locke Street is a 4-lane retail shopping street with residences above ground-floor retail shopping. Take a look at photos and video of this retail shopping street, which has about the same street width and also has residences above ground-floor retail shopping.
Which street is safer? Which street is more pleasant for people? Which street would you prefer to live on? To shop on?
Note that the difference is 100% infrastructure. This infrastructure does not need any training or instruction to protect people from harm. Concrete is self-explanatory.
