Methinks some people have some very grandiose misconceptions about what "farming" life is like.

When I see a local farmer at a market stall, anywhere, that isn't full of busted-up plywood, then I'll let ya know. But despite being to more markets than I can count on this continent and others, and none are ever all that jazzy. That's just not what Farmers Markets are about.

If you want shiny displays and packages which look well under lights and glass, go to a supermarket. If you want local, in-season vegetables with all the dirt, sweat and plywood that come along with them, then go to a market.
