I'm sure there's lots of places on the Mountain this is the case. I know one family who bought a lot and custom-built a home accessible for their daughter (who's in a wheelchair) next door to their old one on Upper Wellington. They've now been promised sidewalks for about a decade and they're still waiting. The sidewalk still ends a half-dozen houses before their door.
