The obsession with 'anonymous' comments is a sign of pettiness. I'd much prefer that valid issues and questions get dealt with...or ignored entirely. If you can't focus on the point being made, and instead prefer to focus on how you're unable to bully the source because of the bewailed anonymity, then I'd question whether you have the ability to manage anything. Including your own obsessions.
I don't care what a commenter's identity is. If their point is valid, it's valid. Conversely, if a recognized and identified commenter's point is devoid of validity, I don't care about anything else. No matter if I know them personally or not.
