An interesting read, but it leaves me with questions as to how relevant it is.

Questions I have after this: - The results are from 2005. This doesn't include things like the Red Hill being completed, the resultant subdivisions and commercial building on/near Rymal and Centennial, Mud St., and so forth. It also doesn't include the developments lining the Linc now. I'd like to see the must current census results reviewed in the same manner - I would imagine the rates of 70% would be falling. - What is considered 'downtown' in that study? The map indicates a broad area but never explicitly says what downtown is. I'd consider downtown to (loosely) be bounded by Wilson at the north, Wellington at the east, Main at the south, and Queen at the west. This map includes far more than this. - The stats of those working 'downtown' appears to be more of a posed question asking how close to work they live; the largest response is 0-15km. Depending on where you live that can be many, many different places.

I'm not trying to be difficult, but I'd like something a bit more concrete to back up your claim.
