So..have a word Mr. precedent. Have 2 if they are small.
Biking has got the full attention of many because it's workable for Them, & the City has found yet another inexpensive way to Appear to bring Hamilton kicking, screaming &... peddling into the 21st century. (While at the same time shoving public transit back off to the sidelines.)

If you believe that Hamilton will really give support to bike lanes, over the long haul, then you have a lot more faith than I have in Hamilton's 'Flavour of the Month" policies than I do. Let's see if the GHA's commitment lasts longer than a year.

It's easy to put up signs, & make announcements. It's a lot more difficult to follow through with projects, do the homework involved, & Maintain what you have put in place.

And yes, you do have an affluent bike lobby, esp. in the Burbs. That's why bike lanes here had to be re-paved less than a month after they had been installed. A street bike or a mountain bike's tires will easily go over a 1/4 inch crack in the pavement. The thin tires on racing bikes.. Not so much.

And...Wrong Gender. That's Mrs. precedent to you.
