Problem with Strathcona is that many parents send their kids down to Ryerson instead of nearby Hess St due to the deplorable conditions of Hess St. It's virtually ignored since it's mostly poorer folks, refugees and immigrant families. Which, of course, doesn't surprise anyone once you understand how the board works. Most Strathcona School kids go down to Ryerson and then I'm guessing Westdale, although some still do Sir John A (until it's closed and moved to Binbrook or Waterdown etc....)
