GrapeApe You're correct, special requirements have to be designed into this building given its purpose. Having said that, other than footprint, the site does not change the design of this particular building.
As I and many others have said, it could be built on the north parking lot (King and Bay) without changing anything except the orientation of the entrance. Anything Mac has spent on the design process is not jeopardized.
This is about site, not design. Nor, about logic, or higher purpose. McMaster has not explained, or even talked about why they need this exact site. Instead they have offered threats about where else they might take the clinic if we don't do what they want us to do.
Let me repeat, I want this to work. For all of us. I'm not a Mac basher. But, I'm not happy with Mac's behaviours on this file.
