Yeah they spent $4.5 million and the cars get stuck crawling behind a terrified cyclist headed uphill because, while they could delay the project 4 months to save a tree, they couldn't paint a 1 foot buffer on the upbound side.

The double center line isn't enough for most cars to feel comfortable passing a bike. The little shoulder like on W5 would have worked better.

But probably nobody told them that and nobody asked. Yes indeed, good thing everyone in the city got a notice and public input opportunity.

I love the added insult of the "better roads for neighborhoods" sign on that access, or whatever it reads to that effect.
