This Saturday, June 2nd at 1pm, come join us and watch mural artists paint the exterior walls of the historic Tivoli Theatre!
The Police, Community Leaders, Artists & Youth are working together to use graffiti for good! Graffiti Artists will create a message of hope by creating a We Are Visible Hamilton Mural which will be shared in NYC at http://140conf.com
Bring those Toonies for Tivoli to kick start community fundraising efforts and help restore the building to it's former glory!

Graffiti Artists? Tivoli theatre wall?
I dunno...Guess I'll wait to see the finished product, but right now, I think I'd much prefer the old brick, cleaned up or not.
It is brick now, isn't it?

Let's not let this beauty languish in obscurity any longer. Any attention the Tivoli can get is a good thing.

Absolutely agreed. If this can help with that, then I'm all for it. Such a beauty indeed.
Would love to see someone like Sonic Unyon, take it over, with some assistance of course. The Tiv needs a lot of TLC!

It's great to see so much enthusiasm for the walls of the Beasley Neighboruhood. We're hoping maybe we can become the "Neighbourhood of Murals" one day, and if you walk around our fine 'hood, you'll be as impressed as we are with the new wall art!

This is an awesome project! Street art is becoming more and more prominent all over the world. Over the last five years or so there have been countless street art festivals in various countries, some of which are organized and funded through community efforts. Many artists have decided to take their work out on the streets and share it with various communities. It would be great if Hamilton would have more events such as this.

Remember going to a Sarah McLachlan concert there years and years ago. If I remember correctly, it was an excellent venue. Would be nice if it could be renovated along the lines of what the Danforth Music Hall, went to a concert there recently, excellent job they did in Toronto.
