Warm up for Hamilton Winterfest at the Kick Off Event (February 1, 3-10p.m.)
Hamilton’s Winterfest program encourages us to get out, connect with others, and celebrate the beauty of the winter season.
Hamiltonians of all ages are invited to celebrate the launch of Winterfest at the Kick-Off event at Pier 8 (47 Discovery Drive) on Saturday February 1st from 3:00 to 10:00 p.m. Visitors will enjoy live music and DJs while they skate, as well as great performances, outdoor art installations, warming food and drinks, and interactive activities that showcase Hamilton area talent. All activities are free (except skate rental fees), and refreshments are for sale.
The City of Hamilton’s Tourism and Culture Division presents the Kick-Off each year to shine a light on the exceptional selection of Winterfest events taking place in neighbourhoods across the city from February 1-9, 2014. For details visit www.hamiltonwinterfest.ca.
