Itinerary: Chat a little bit at Scott Park field, wander about the surrounding stadiunm grounds afterwards, and then walk the broader neighborhood for as long as everyone wants to explore.
Speeches will begin at 6pm.
Bring your walking shoes, reading glasses, and an open mind. I’ll have some documents to pass around and read as we wonder the east end streets.
My goal is to have everyone back to the stadium for sunet (7:40ish), as I would like to share the quiet night view of Ivor Wynne.
See blog post for more details.

Save Ivor Wynne to do what? Why? Com'on people! who is going to lead this Sam Merulla?
I don't mind if they keep it and downsize it to play academy/community soccer and for a community centre but the Ticats wont play in that location anymore. that is for certain.

With all due respect, Ivor Wynne needs either to be decommissioned or reduced to a 5000-7500 seat stadium when the Ti-Cats have played their last game in or before 2015. The place is too expensive to maintain and the cost of renovating Ivor Wynne is just as much as it is to build a new stadium. Furthermore, people who don't have local transit to take them to the games don't generally like the idea of parking in the front lawns of other people's houses to go to a game.

Rally to save IWS?
Get real.
That $93M mentioned at last weeks council meeting, was to demolish and build a new stadium in it's place. BTY group (BTY.com), did the quote.
Having said that, I am postponig this due to the poor weather forecast. Perhaps I'll reschedule next weekend dependent on the long range.
Considering the whole plan was to walk the neighborhood, singing in the rain wasn't the plan.

It wouldn't really be affordable to save IW, it would be, tear it down and build a new stadium. Maybe just save the video board.
